1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box
Upon opening your GearLight Tactical Flashlight package, you should find the following components:
- 2x GearLight TAC LED Tactical Flashlights
- 2x AAA Battery Holders (Batteries are not included)
- 2x Battery Tubes (for 18650 battery use)
- 2x Lanyards (Hand Straps)
- 2x Belt Clips
- 1x Operation Guide (this manual)
- 1x Warranty Card

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
Your GearLight Tactical Flashlight can be powered by either 3 AAA batteries (not included) using the provided AAA battery holder, or by a single 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery (not included) using the provided battery tube.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- For AAA Batteries: Insert 3 AAA batteries into the AAA battery holder, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Place the loaded battery holder into the flashlight body with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- For 18650 Battery: Insert one 18650 battery into the clear battery tube, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Place the loaded battery tube into the flashlight body with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tail cap back onto the flashlight body by turning it clockwise until it is securely tightened.

3.2 Attaching Lanyard and Belt Clip
- To attach the lanyard, thread the thin loop of the lanyard through the small hole on the tail cap of the flashlight. Then, pass the larger end of the lanyard through the loop you just created and pull to secure.
- The belt clip can be slid onto the flashlight body, positioning it as desired for convenient carry.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
To turn the flashlight ON, firmly press the orange button located on the tail cap until you hear a click. To turn the flashlight OFF, press the button again until you hear another click.
4.2 Adjusting Focus (Zoom Function)
The GearLight Tactical Flashlight features an adjustable focus to switch between a wide floodlight and a narrow spotlight beam. To adjust the focus, simply slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward. Pushing the head forward will narrow the beam to a spotlight, while pulling it back will widen it to a floodlight.

4.3 Lighting Modes
This flashlight operates with a single, consistent lighting mode, providing a powerful beam without cycling through multiple settings. This ensures straightforward operation for immediate illumination.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or debris.
- For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid scratching.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
5.2 Battery Care
- Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and corrosion.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Replace all AAA batteries at the same time to ensure consistent performance.
5.3 Water Resistance
The flashlight is designed to be water-resistant, suitable for use in rainy conditions or accidental splashes. It is not intended for submersion in water.
