The Hitachi HWD-B30000 is a bottom-loading water dispenser designed for convenience and ease of use. It provides three temperature options: hot, cold, and lukewarm water.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper setup of your water dispenser:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or service.
  2. Placement: Position the dispenser on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of space from walls for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the drip tray.
  4. Water Bottle Installation:
    • Open the bottom compartment door.
    • Remove the cap from a new 5-gallon (or compatible size) water bottle.
    • Insert the water probe into the bottle opening.
    • Slide the bottle into the compartment and close the door securely. The dispenser will automatically pump water into its internal tanks.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V electrical outlet.
  6. Initial Water Flow: Before turning on heating or cooling, dispense a few cups of water from each tap to ensure water flows freely and to prime the system.

5. Operating Instructions

Once set up, operating your dispenser is straightforward:

  1. Power On: Press the power button on the control panel. Indicator lights will illuminate.
  2. Water Temperature Selection:
    • Press the Hot Water button for hot water.
    • Press the Cold Water button for cold water.
    • Press the Lukewarm Water button for room temperature water.
  3. Dispensing Water: Place your cup under the desired spout and press the corresponding water button. For hot water, ensure the child safety lock is disengaged first.
  4. Child Safety Lock: To dispense hot water, simultaneously press the child safety lock button (usually located above the hot water tap) and the hot water dispense button. Release the safety lock button after dispensing.
  5. Empty Bottle Indicator: When the water bottle in the bottom compartment is empty, the empty bottle indicator light will illuminate. Replace the bottle as described in the Setup section.
