5.1 General Operation
- Power On: Once plugged in, the integrated lighting will illuminate.
- Temperature Control: Use the two rotary knobs on the front of the unit to adjust the heating elements. One knob controls the grill plate and the central fondue heating element, while the other controls the lower raclette heating elements. Turn the knob clockwise to increase temperature.
- Preheating: Allow the appliance to preheat for approximately 10-15 minutes before placing food on the grill plate or in the raclette pans, or before adding fondue ingredients.
5.2 Using the Grill Function
- Ensure the grill plate is clean and properly seated.
- Lightly grease the grill plate if desired, especially for delicate foods.
- Adjust the temperature knob controlling the grill plate to your desired heat setting.
- Place food directly onto the hot grill plate. Cook until desired doneness, turning as needed.
5.3 Using the Raclette Function
- Prepare your desired raclette ingredients (e.g., cheese, vegetables, cooked meats).
- Place small portions of ingredients into the individual raclette pans.
- Slide the filled raclette pans into the lower compartments beneath the heating element.
- Adjust the temperature knob controlling the lower heating elements.
- Cook until cheese is melted and bubbly, or other ingredients are heated through. Use the included spatulas (if provided, or similar non-scratch utensils) to remove food from pans.
5.4 Using the Fondue Function
- Ensure the fondue pot is securely placed in the central opening and the fondue ring is on top.
- Fill the fondue pot with your chosen fondue liquid (e.g., oil, broth, cheese, chocolate). Do not overfill.
- Adjust the temperature knob controlling the central heating element to heat the fondue liquid.
- Once the fondue liquid reaches the desired temperature, use the color-coded fondue forks to dip food items.
