1. Introduction and Overview

The CROSOFMI Sprinkler Timer (Model HCT-311) is a digital, programmable water timer designed to automate your garden, lawn, and irrigation systems. It offers flexible programming options, a large display, and multiple intelligent functions to ensure efficient watering and water conservation.

2. Package Contents

Upon opening the package, please verify that all the following items are included:

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your CROSOFMI Sprinkler Timer:

1. Battery Installation:

   Open the battery compartment on the back of the timer. Insert two (2) 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely. The powerful chip will detect low power supply and shut off the hose timer before the battery dies.

2. Insert O-Ring:

   Ensure the 3mm O-ring is properly seated inside the top connector of the timer. This is crucial for preventing leaks.

3. Connect to Faucet:

   Screw the hose tap connector (3/4" internal thread) of the timer onto your outdoor faucet. Hand tighten only. Ensure it is securely attached but do not overtighten to avoid damage. If your faucet is 1/2", use the provided 1/2" adapter.

4. Connect Hose:

   Connect your garden hose to the bottom outlet of the timer (3/4" internal thread). Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks.

Installation Tips:

• Horizontal or inverted installation is prohibited to ensure proper operation and prevent water ingress.
• Hand tighten connections only. Do not use tools that may damage the plastic threads.
• Rotate the connector in the direction of the thread for a secure fit.
• For optimal performance and longevity, store the timer indoors during freezing temperatures.

4. Operating Instructions

The CROSOFMI Sprinkler Timer features an intuitive interface for easy programming. The large screen displays current time, watering duration, frequency, and next irrigation time.

4.1. Setting Current Time

1. Press the 'SETUP / OK' button to enter programming mode.
2. The 'NOW' (current time) section will blink. Use the ' + ' and ' - ' buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
3. Press 'SETUP / OK' again to confirm and move to the next setting.

4.2. Setting Programmed Watering Schedule

After setting the current time, continue pressing 'SETUP / OK' to cycle through the following settings:

1. Set Start Time:

   The 'START TIME' section will blink. Use ' + ' and ' - ' to set the desired start time for irrigation. Press 'SETUP / OK' to confirm.

2. Set Watering Duration ('HOW LONG'):

   The 'HOW LONG' section will blink. Use ' + ' and ' - ' to set the watering duration (from 1 second to 300 minutes). Press 'SETUP / OK' to confirm.

3. Set Watering Frequency ('HOW OFTEN'):

   The 'HOW OFTEN' section will blink. Use ' + ' and ' - ' to set the irrigation interval (from 1 hour to 15 days). Press 'SETUP / OK' to confirm and save all settings.

4.3. Manual Watering

To initiate watering instantly without affecting your programmed schedule:

1. Press the 'MANUAL' button. The 'HOW LONG' section will blink.
2. Use ' + ' and ' - ' to set the desired manual watering duration.
3. Press 'SETUP / OK' to start manual watering. The faucet icon will appear on the screen.
4. To stop manual watering, press 'MANUAL' again, then 'SETUP / OK'.

4.4. Rain Delay Function

To temporarily pause your watering schedule due to rain or other reasons:

1. Hold the 'RAIN DELAY' button for 3 seconds. The cloud icon will blink.
2. Use ' + ' and ' - ' to set the desired delay duration (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours).
3. Press 'SETUP / OK' to confirm the rain delay. The cloud icon will remain on the screen.
4. To cancel the rain delay, hold the 'RAIN DELAY' button for 3 seconds again. The cloud icon will disappear.

4.5. Child Lock Mode

To prevent accidental changes to your settings:

1. Hold the 'RAIN DELAY' button for 3 seconds. The clock icon will blink twice, indicating Child Lock is active.
2. To exit Child Lock mode, hold the 'RAIN DELAY' button for 3 seconds again. The clock icon will blink twice and disappear.

4.6. Auto Sleep Function

The screen will automatically go to sleep after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life. To reactivate the screen, simply press any button.

4.7. Turning Off the Timer

To completely turn off the timer and stop all watering schedules:

1. Hold the 'ESC / OFF' button for 3 seconds. The screen will display 'OFF'.
2. To turn the timer back on, hold the 'ESC / OFF' button for 3 seconds again.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CROSOFMI Sprinkler Timer:

• Regular Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the timer with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
