Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

1. Locate the charging port on the side of the speaker (refer to Figure 3).
2. Connect the small end of the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The LED indicator on the speaker will illuminate, typically red, to indicate charging.
5. Once fully charged (approximately 2-3 hours), the LED indicator will usually turn off or change color (e.g., blue or green).
6. Disconnect the charging cable. The speaker is now ready for use.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

1. Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
2. Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the top panel, refer to Figure 2) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the LED indicator flash rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
3. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Enable Bluetooth and scan for available devices.
5. Select "Kami Nio" or "KNBTSBK" from the list of found devices.
6. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the LED indicator on the speaker will typically turn solid blue or flash slowly.
7. The speaker is now connected and ready to play audio from your device.

Note: The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (refer to Figure 2) for approximately 3 seconds. An audible tone will confirm power-on.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds. An audible tone will confirm power-off.

Volume Control

• Increase Volume: Press the + button (refer to Figure 2).
• Decrease Volume: Press the - button (refer to Figure 2).

Music Playback Control

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (often indicated by a triangle or circle, refer to Figure 2) once.
• Next Track: Press and hold the + button or a dedicated "Next Track" button (if available, refer to Figure 2).
• Previous Track: Press and hold the - button or a dedicated "Previous Track" button (if available, refer to Figure 2).

Answering/Ending Calls

• Answer Call: When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause/Call button once.
• End Call: During a call, press the Play/Pause/Call button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause/Call button for approximately 2 seconds.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
• Water Exposure: This speaker is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to water, rain, or excessive moisture.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the speaker frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.
