Daily Cleaning

  • Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.

  • Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Do not immerse the coffee maker base in water or any other liquid.

Descaling (Mineral Deposit Removal)

Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and coffee flavor. Descale your coffee maker every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with 4 cups of undiluted white household vinegar.
  2. Place an empty carafe on the warming plate.
  3. Press the “Clean” button. The clean indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Allow the coffee maker to complete the cleaning cycle. Once complete, the clean indicator light will turn off.
  5. Run 2-3 full cycles with fresh water only to rinse out any remaining vinegar.

The 2-step advanced water filtration system requires periodic filter replacement for optimal performance. Replacement cartridges are sold separately. Refer to the filter packaging for specific replacement intervals, typically every 30-60 days depending on usage and water hardness.
