This diagram illustrates the main components and their functions: the crown for adjusting time and date, pushers for chronograph start/pause and reset, and sub-dials for minute, second, and 24-hour tracking, along with the calendar display.
3. Setup
3.1 Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (middle knob on the right side of the watch) out to position 2.
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into position 0 (normal operating position).
3.2 Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to position 1.
- Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Once the date is set, push the crown back into position 0.
3.3 Adjusting the Strap
The leather strap features a standard buckle clasp. Adjust the strap length by selecting the appropriate hole for a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist.

4. Operating the Chronograph
Your LIGE watch includes a chronograph (stopwatch) function for measuring elapsed time.
- Start/Pause: Press the top pusher (button A) to start the chronograph. Press it again to pause the timing.
- Reset: While the chronograph is paused, press the bottom pusher (button B) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
The sub-dials typically display seconds, minutes, and 24-hour time for the chronograph function.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Your Watch
Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. If the strap gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally.
5.2 Water Resistance
This watch is 3ATM (30 meters / 98 feet) water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing, rain, or accidental splashes. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any prolonged water immersion. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

Figure 5.1: Water Resistance Illustration.
While the watch is resistant to splashes, it is not designed for full submersion or activities like swimming or diving. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) as this can shorten its lifespan.
5.3 Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by an alkaline button battery. When the watch stops or the hands move erratically, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch not running / Hands stopped | Depleted battery. | Replace the battery (recommended by a professional). |
| Time is inaccurate / Watch runs slow or fast | Low battery, magnetic interference, or internal movement issue. | Check battery. Keep watch away from strong magnetic fields. If problem persists, seek professional repair. |
| Chronograph hands do not reset to zero | Requires calibration or internal issue. | Consult the "Function Description" image for reset procedure. If issue persists, professional service may be needed. |
| Water inside the watch / Fogging under crystal | Crown not fully pushed in, or water resistance seal compromised. | Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage. |
