- Stable Surface: Place the smoker on a flat, stable, non-combustible surface away from any flammable materials, structures, or vegetation.
- Hot Surfaces: The smoker will become extremely hot during use. Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot components. Do not touch hot surfaces with bare hands.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the smoker at all times, especially during operation and while it is cooling down.
- Proper Fuel: Use only charcoal or wood chips/chunks specifically designed for smoking. Do not use gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol for lighting or relighting.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper airflow by keeping vents clear. Never block the smoker's ventilation openings.
- Supervision: Never leave the smoker unattended while in use.
- Cool Down: Allow the smoker to cool completely before cleaning, moving, or storing.

4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly is straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Attach Legs: Securely attach the four legs to the base of the smoker body using the provided hardware. Ensure they are tightened for stability.
- Insert Drip Pans: Place the two drip pans into their designated slots inside the lower section of the smoker.
- Position Grates: Insert the two chromed grates into the upper section of the smoker. They can be placed at different heights as needed.
- Check Doors: Ensure both doors close securely with their magnetic latches.
- Burn-in (First Use): Before smoking food, perform a burn-in. Load a small amount of charcoal or wood chips and let the smoker run for 1-2 hours at a moderate temperature. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and season the smoker.

5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective smoking:
- Prepare Fuel: Place your chosen fuel (charcoal, wood chips/chunks) in the designated area at the bottom of the smoker.
- Ignite Fuel: Carefully ignite the fuel. Allow it to burn until it's glowing and producing consistent smoke.
- Preheat: Close the doors and allow the smoker to preheat to your desired smoking temperature. Monitor the integrated thermometer.
- Temperature Control: Use the four side ventilation sliders to control the airflow and thus the temperature. Opening the vents increases airflow and temperature; closing them reduces it. Adjust gradually for stable temperatures.
- Load Food: Once the desired temperature is reached, carefully place your food on the chromed grates. Use the provided grate hooks for easy handling.
- Monitor: Keep the doors closed as much as possible to maintain consistent temperature and smoke. Only open briefly to check food or add more fuel/wood.
- Refuel: If smoking for extended periods, you may need to add more fuel or wood chips.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your smoker:
- Cool Down: Always allow the smoker to cool completely before attempting any cleaning.
- Remove Ash: Empty the ash and any unburnt fuel from the bottom of the smoker.
- Clean Grates and Pans: Remove the chromed grates and drip pans. Wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive brush or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe Interior: Wipe down the interior surfaces of the smoker with a damp cloth to remove grease and residue. For stubborn spots, use a mild degreaser.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the smoker with a damp cloth. The coated steel finish is easy to clean.
- Storage: Store the smoker in a dry, protected area when not in use to prevent rust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their solutions:
- Temperature too low: Ensure sufficient fuel is present. Open ventilation sliders further to increase airflow. Check for blockages in vents.
- Temperature too high: Close ventilation sliders partially to reduce airflow. Reduce the amount of fuel.
- Uneven smoking: Ensure food is evenly spaced on grates. Maintain consistent temperature. Rotate food if necessary.
- Excessive smoke leakage: Check that doors are fully closed and magnetic latches are engaged. Ensure the smoker is assembled correctly and all parts fit snugly.
- Difficulty cleaning: Clean the smoker immediately after it cools down. For baked-on residue, soak grates and pans, or use a grill brush.
