2.2 Control Panel and Remote Control

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air conditioner from its packaging.
- Check for any damage during transit. Contact your retailer if any damage is found.
- Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
3.2 Positioning the Unit
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Position the unit near a window or opening for the exhaust hose.
3.3 Exhaust Hose Installation
- Attach the exhaust hose connector to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the unit.
- Extend the exhaust hose and attach the window kit adapter to the other end.
- Open a window or sliding door and place the window kit adapter securely in the opening, ensuring a tight seal to prevent hot air from entering the room.
- Minimize bends in the exhaust hose to ensure efficient operation.
3.4 Drainage Setup
The unit has a dehumidifier function and will collect water. For continuous drainage, connect a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drainage port and lead it to a suitable drain or container. Otherwise, the internal water tank will need to be emptied manually when full.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V electrical outlet.
- Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.
4.2 Mode Selection
Press the MODE button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Cooling Mode: For air conditioning. Adjust temperature using the TEMP +/- buttons.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Adjust fan speed.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Removes moisture from the air. The unit will operate as a dehumidifier.
4.3 Temperature and Fan Speed Adjustment
- In Cooling Mode, use the TEMP +/- buttons to set the desired temperature.
- Press the FAN SPEED button to select between low and high fan speeds (2 speeds available).
4.4 Timer Function
The 24-hour timer allows you to set the unit to turn on or off automatically after a specified period.
- Press the TIMER button.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired delay in hours.
- The timer indicator will illuminate on the LED display.
4.5 Water Tank Indicator
When the internal water tank is full, the "Water Tank" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will stop operating. Empty the water tank as described in the Maintenance section.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.
5.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm water and mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean the air filter every two weeks or more frequently if used in dusty environments.
5.2 Emptying the Water Tank
- When the "Water Tank" indicator lights up, turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or container under the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug and allow all collected water to drain out.
- Replace the drain plug firmly.
5.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
5.4 Storage
- Before storing, ensure the water tank is completely empty.
- Clean the air filter.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
