4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the side of the rangefinder.
- Twist the battery cap counter-clockwise to open.
- Insert a new CR2 3-volt Lithium battery, ensuring the positive (+) terminal is facing inward.
- Replace the battery cap and twist clockwise until securely closed.

4.2 Initial Power On and Diopter Adjustment
- Press the Power/Fire button once to activate the display.
- Rotate the eyepiece (diopter adjustment) until the reticle and objects in the display appear sharp and in focus.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Distance Measurement
- Look through the eyepiece and press the Power/Fire button once to turn on the display.
- Align the aiming circle (reticle) with your desired target.
- Press and hold the Power/Fire button. The distance will be displayed almost instantly.
- Release the button to turn off the laser. The display will remain active for a short period before automatically shutting off to conserve battery.
5.2 Pinseeker with JOLT Technology
Pinseeker mode allows for easy acquisition of the flag without inadvertently capturing background targets. When multiple objects are acquired, the rangefinder will display the closer distance. JOLT Technology provides short vibrating bursts to confirm that the laser has locked onto the flag.
- While looking through the rangefinder, press and hold the Power/Fire button.
- Slowly pan the rangefinder across the flag and surrounding area.
- Once the flag is isolated and the distance is displayed, the device will vibrate, confirming Pinseeker with JOLT.
5.3 Shift (Slope Compensation) Feature
The Shift feature allows you to toggle between Slope-compensated distance (legal for practice rounds) and non-Slope (actual) distance (legal for tournament play).
- Locate the Shift switch on the side of the rangefinder.
- Slide the switch to the left for Slope-compensated distance (indicated by a red ring).
- Slide the switch to the right for non-Slope (actual) distance (no red ring visible).
