Setup

Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: the main feeder unit, the removable 5-compartment tray, and the lid.
Battery Installation: The feeder requires batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the unit. Insert the required batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators.
Tray Placement: Place the clean 5-compartment food tray into the main unit, ensuring it sits securely and aligns with the central rotation mechanism.
Filling Compartments: Fill each compartment with up to 1 cup of dry or semi-moist pet food. The first meal will be immediately accessible in the exposed compartment.
Lid Placement: Securely place the lid back onto the feeder unit.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Timer for Scheduled Meals

The TRIXIE TX4+1 allows you to program up to 4-time delayed feeding intervals within a 24-hour period, in addition to the first immediately available meal.

Accessing Controls: The control panel with a digital display and buttons is located on the top of the feeder.
Setting Current Time: Use the "SET" button to enter programming mode. Adjust the current time using the arrow buttons (up/down). Confirm with "SET".
Programming Meal Times: After setting the current time, you can program the delay in hours and minutes for each of the 4 subsequent meals. For example, if you want the next meal in 6 hours, set the delay to 06:00.
Confirmation: Once all desired meal delays are set, the feeder will begin its cycle. The first meal is available immediately, and subsequent meals will be presented at the programmed intervals.

Feeding Your Pet

Once programmed, the feeder will automatically rotate the tray to expose the next filled compartment at the scheduled time. This ensures your pet receives meals consistently.

Cleaning

Removable Tray: The plastic 5-compartment food tray is dishwasher safe (top rack only) for easy and thorough cleaning.
Main Unit: Wipe the main feeder unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water, as it contains electronic components.
Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the feeder and adding food.

Battery Replacement
