- Durable Construction: Stainless steel case with a mineral crystal for enhanced scratch resistance.
- Comfortable Band: Resin band designed for everyday wear.
Setup
Initial Charging
Upon receiving your watch, expose it to bright light for several hours to ensure it is sufficiently charged. The watch uses a solar cell located under the dial to convert light into electrical energy, which is stored in a rechargeable battery. For optimal charging, place the watch where the dial is exposed to direct sunlight or strong artificial light.
Setting the Time and Date
- Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown out to the first click for date adjustment, or to the second click for time adjustment.
- Set the Date: If setting the date, pull the crown to the first click. Turn the crown to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism. Push the crown back in to secure the date.
- Set the Time: Pull the crown out to the second click. Turn the crown to move the hour and minute hands. Advance the minute hand four or five minutes past the desired time, then turn it back to the correct time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or if the date changes at midnight.
- Synchronize with a Time Signal: For precise time, push the crown back in when a time signal (e.g., from a radio or phone) reaches 12:00.
Operating Instructions
Timekeeping
The watch displays the current hour, minute, and second with its three analog hands. The date is shown in the date display window.
Low Battery Alert
If the second hand begins to move at two-second intervals instead of one-second intervals, it indicates that the watch's charge is low. Immediately expose the watch to light for charging. If the watch runs out of power completely, the hands will stop. After recharging, you will need to reset the time and date.
Maintenance
Charging Guidelines
- To maintain a stable charge, expose the watch to light regularly.
- Avoid leaving the watch in a dark place for extended periods.
- Do not place the watch on a car dashboard or near other heat sources, as extreme temperatures can damage the watch.
Cleaning Your Watch
- Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture.
- For resin bands, you can use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with water and dry completely.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the watch's finish.
Water Resistance Precautions
- The watch is rated for 100-meter water resistance. This means it is suitable for everyday use, swimming, and snorkeling.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged in water.
- Avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or sudden temperature changes, as this can compromise the water resistance seals.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely.
Troubleshooting
- Watch has stopped or second hand moves at two-second intervals: The watch is low on charge. Expose the watch to bright light for several hours. If it still does not resume normal operation, it may require professional inspection.
- Time or Date is incorrect: Refer to the "Setting the Time and Date" section to manually adjust. Ensure the crown is pushed back in completely after adjustment.
- Condensation inside the watch: This indicates a potential breach in water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and have it inspected by an authorized service center.
