Setup

The Anko Wireless Doorbell is designed for easy, plug-and-play installation. No complex wiring is required.

1. Install the Transmitter (Push Button)

The transmitter is powered by a 12V 23A battery (included). It can be mounted using either the provided adhesive tape or screws.

  • Adhesive Tape Installation: Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly. Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and apply it to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and firmly press the transmitter onto the wall or door frame.
  • Screw Installation: Open the back cover of the transmitter. Use the provided screws to secure the back plate to the wall or door frame. Snap the transmitter unit back onto the secured plate.

Ensure the transmitter is placed in a location where it is easily accessible to visitors and within the operating range of the receiver.

2. Install the Receiver (Plug-in Chime)

Simply plug the receiver into any standard AC 110V ~ 220V 50Hz / 60Hz wall outlet. Choose a central location in your home where the chime can be easily heard.

Operating Instructions

Changing Chime Melodies

The receiver offers 36 different chime melodies. To change the melody, press the 'Music Options' button on the side of the receiver. Each press will cycle through the available tunes. Stop pressing when you find your preferred melody.

Adjusting Volume

The doorbell features 4 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 25dB to 85dB. To adjust the volume, press the 'Volume Level' button on the side of the receiver. Each press will cycle through the volume settings.

LED Flash Indicator

The receiver is equipped with a blue LED flash indicator. This feature provides a visual alert when the doorbell is pressed, which is particularly useful for individuals with hearing impairments or in noisy environments.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.

Transmitter Battery Replacement

The transmitter is powered by a 12V 23A battery. If the transmitter stops working or the signal weakens, it may be time to replace the battery. To replace, open the back cover of the transmitter, remove the old battery, and insert a new 12V 23A battery, ensuring correct polarity.

Water Resistance (IP44)

The transmitter (push button) is rated IP44 dustproof and waterproof, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and splashing water from any direction. While it can withstand rain, avoid submerging it in water.

Troubleshooting
