3.2 Mounting the Winch

  1. Attach the winch to your vehicle's specific SuperATV mounting plate using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
  2. Position the aluminum hawse fairlead to guide the synthetic rope smoothly.

3.3 Electrical Wiring

Connect the waterproof solenoid to the winch motor and the vehicle's 12V battery. Follow the color-coded wiring diagram provided with your kit for correct connections. Ensure all connections are secure and protected from environmental elements.

3.4 Control Installation

Install the dash rocker switch in a convenient location on your vehicle's dashboard. Connect it to the solenoid according to the wiring diagram. The wireless remote control is pre-paired for immediate use; ensure its battery is functional.

  4. Begin Pull: Slowly begin winching in, ensuring the rope spools evenly and tightly onto the drum. Monitor the load and the winch for any signs of strain or overheating.
  5. Maintain Tension: Keep slight tension on the rope to prevent tangles and ensure proper spooling.
  6. Stop Winching: Once the task is complete, release the control button. Disengage the clutch if necessary and carefully detach the hook from the anchor.
  7. Respool Rope: Slowly respool the rope onto the drum, maintaining slight tension. Secure the hook.
