Featuring a 3-speed belt-drive turntable, built-in stereo speakers, and versatile output options, it combines classic aesthetics with modern functionality. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure proper use and longevity.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Power Source: Use only the provided 12V adapter. Ensure the power outlet matches the voltage requirements.
  • Placement: Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Avoid placing it near strong magnetic fields.
  • Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Allow adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
  • Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Water and Moisture: Do not expose the unit to dripping or splashing water. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the unit.
  • Servicing: Do not attempt to service the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

4. Product Overview

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your record player:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the record player and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for ventilation. The unit features vibration absorber foot pads to minimize external vibrations.
  3. Power Connection: Insert the DC plug of the 12V power adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. Optional: Connecting to External Speakers (RCA OUT): If you wish to connect the record player to an external amplifier or powered speakers, use an RCA cable (not included) to connect the RCA OUT jacks on the rear of the unit to the corresponding audio input jacks on your amplifier or speakers. Ensure the correct left and right channels are connected.
  5. Optional: Connecting External Audio Device (AUX IN): To play audio from an external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) through the record player's built-in speakers, connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your device's headphone jack to the AUX IN jack on the rear of the record player.

6. Operation

Operating your LuguLake Vinyl Record Player is straightforward:

  1. Power On: Turn the Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click. The unit is now powered on.
  2. Select Speed: Choose the appropriate playback speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch located near the tone arm. For 7-inch records with a large center hole, place the 45 RPM adapter on the spindle before placing the record.
  3. Place Record: Carefully place your vinyl record on the turntable platter. If using the dust-free mat, place it on the platter first.
  4. Auto-Stop Function: The auto-stop function automatically pauses playback when the record reaches its end. To enable or disable this feature, use the Auto On/Off switch.
  5. Start Playback:
    • Gently push the tone arm lifter lever upwards to raise the tone arm.
    • Manually move the tone arm over the desired starting groove of the record.
    • Gently push the tone arm lifter lever downwards to lower the tone arm onto the record. Playback will begin.
  6. Adjust Volume: Rotate the Volume knob to adjust the sound level from the built-in speakers or connected external speakers.
  7. End Playback:
    • When the record finishes, the auto-stop function will pause playback (if enabled).
    • Alternatively, gently push the tone arm lifter lever upwards to raise the tone arm.
    • Manually return the tone arm to its rest position.
    • Gently push the tone arm lifter lever downwards to secure the tone arm.
  8. Power Off: Turn the Volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click to power off the unit.

Using the AUX IN Function

To play audio from an external device through the record player's speakers:

  1. Connect your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack on the rear of the record player using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  2. Power on the record player using the Volume knob.
  3. Select and play music on your external device. The audio will play through the record player's speakers.
  4. Adjust the volume using the Volume knob on the record player and/or your external device.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your record player.

  • Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Cleaning Records: Keep your records clean to prevent dust and debris from damaging the stylus and affecting sound quality. Use a dedicated record brush before each play.
  • Stylus Care: The stylus is a delicate component. Avoid touching it with your fingers. Clean the stylus gently with a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing from back to front. If the sound quality deteriorates significantly, the stylus may need replacement.
  • Storage: When not in use, ensure the tone arm is secured in its rest position. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your record player, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
