Setup

The LuguLake Retro Turntable is designed for quick and easy setup, requiring no special skills or tools.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present.
  2. Horn Installation: Gently attach the brass horn to its designated port on the turntable unit. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the turntable and then to a suitable power outlet.
  4. Initial Placement: Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust.
  5. Belt Setup: Ensure the belt is correctly positioned around the turntable platter and the motor pulley. Refer to the diagram in the Product Overview section for visual guidance.

Your turntable should be ready for operation within approximately 10 minutes after unpacking.

Operating Instructions

This section details how to operate your LuguLake Retro Turntable for various audio sources.

Playing Vinyl Records:

  1. Power On: Turn on the turntable using the power knob on the control panel.
  2. Select LP Mode: Use the mode selection button to switch to "LP" mode. The LCD display will show "LP".
  3. Place Record: Carefully place a 7", 10", or 12" vinyl record on the turntable platter.
  4. Select Speed: Adjust the speed switch to either 33 RPM or 45 RPM, matching the speed of your record.
  5. Position Tone Arm: Gently lift the tone arm using the tone arm lifter lever. Move the tone arm over the desired starting groove of the record.
  6. Lower Tone Arm: Slowly lower the tone arm using the lifter lever. The stylus will make contact with the record, and playback will begin.
  7. Adjust Volume: Use the volume knob on the control panel or the remote control to adjust the sound level.
  8. End Playback: At the end of the record, the tone arm will automatically return to its rest position (auto-stop function). Alternatively, manually lift the tone arm and return it to its rest.

Bluetooth Connectivity:

  1. Select Bluetooth Mode: Turn on the turntable and switch the mode to "Bluetooth". The LCD display will show "BT" and a pairing indicator.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on Device: On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Pair Device: Select "phonograph" from the list of available devices to pair. Once connected, the turntable will indicate successful pairing.
  4. Play Music: Begin playing music on your connected device. Audio will stream through the turntable's speakers.
