Setup Instructions
- Install Wheels:
Carefully turn the trash can body upside down. Insert each of the four wheels into the designated slots on the bottom of the can until they click securely into place. Ensure all wheels are firmly attached for stability and mobility.

- Install Batteries (if not using AC Adapter):
Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lid. Open the compartment and insert four (4) D-size alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Alternatively, an optional AC adapter (sold separately) can be used for continuous power without batteries. Connect the AC adapter to the designated port on the lid and plug it into a wall outlet.

- Install AbsorbX Odor Filter:
Locate the filter compartment inside the lid. Insert the AbsorbX carbon odor filter into the designated slot. Ensure it is seated correctly to maximize odor absorption.

- Place Trash Bag:
Lift the retainer ring from the trash can body. Place a 13-gallon trash bag into the can, wrapping the top edge of the bag over the retainer ring. Lower the retainer ring back into the can, securing the trash bag in place.

- Attach Lid:
Carefully place the lid onto the trash can body, ensuring it is properly aligned and seated.
Operating Instructions
Motion Sensor Operation
The trash can features a motion sensor for touchless operation. When your hand or an object approaches the sensor area (typically above the lid), the lid will automatically open. It will remain open for a few seconds and then close automatically once the object is removed from the sensor's range.

Manual Open/Close Buttons
For extended opening or manual control, use the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons located on the lid. Press "OPEN" to keep the lid open indefinitely. Press "CLOSE" to close the lid. The motion sensor will reactivate after the lid is manually closed.
Locking Lid Feature
This model includes a locking lid feature to prevent accidental opening, especially useful in households with pets or small children. Consult the user manual for specific instructions on engaging and disengaging the lid lock mechanism.
Mobility
The integrated wheels allow for easy movement of the trash can. Simply unlock the wheels (if applicable) and roll the can to your desired location. Lock the wheels to secure the can in place.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Trash Can
- Wipe the stainless steel body with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the finish.
- For fingerprint-resistant surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner designed for such finishes.
- Clean the sensor area on the lid with a soft, dry cloth to ensure optimal performance.
- The interior of the can can be cleaned with soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before replacing the trash bag.

AbsorbX Odor Filter Replacement
The AbsorbX carbon odor filter should be replaced every three months, or sooner if odors persist. To replace, open the filter compartment in the lid, remove the old filter, and insert a new one. Replacement filters are available from iTouchless.
Battery Replacement
When the batteries are low, the sensor light may flash or the lid may operate slowly. Replace all four D-size batteries simultaneously, ensuring correct polarity. If using an AC adapter, ensure the connection is secure.
