Troubleshooting
No 4K UHD or HDR Picture
If you are not receiving a 4K UHD or HDR signal from a compatible device, ensure that the 'Full UHD Color' setting is enabled for the specific HDMI input being used. Refer to the 'Enabling Full 4K UHD Color' section above for detailed instructions. Also, verify that your HDMI cable is rated for HDMI 2.0 or higher to support 4K content.
No Power
Check that the power cord is securely connected to both the TV and a working electrical outlet. Try plugging another device into the same outlet to confirm it has power. If the TV still does not power on, try a different outlet.
Remote Control Not Working
Ensure the batteries in the remote control are correctly inserted and are not depleted. Replace the batteries if necessary. Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's remote sensor.
Maintenance
To maintain the performance and appearance of your VIZIO TV:
- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution specifically designed for electronics. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
- Cleaning the Frame: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the TV frame and stand.
- Ventilation: Ensure the TV's ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Power Off When Not in Use: Turn off the TV when not in use to conserve energy and extend its lifespan.
