3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the air conditioner from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport. Check for any damage during transit.
3.2 Placement
Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of clear space around the unit for proper airflow. Do not place near curtains or other objects that could obstruct the air inlets or outlets.
3.3 Exhaust Hose Installation
- Attach the exhaust hose connector to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
- Extend the exhaust hose to the nearest window or vent opening.
- Ensure the hose is as straight and short as possible to maximize efficiency. Avoid sharp bends.
3.4 Window Kit Installation
The included window kit is designed to seal the window opening around the exhaust hose, preventing hot air from re-entering the room.
- Adjust the window sealing plate to fit your window opening.
- Secure the plate in the window frame.
- Insert the exhaust hose nozzle into the opening of the window sealing plate.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel
The control panel on top of the unit allows you to manage all functions. It typically includes buttons for Power, Mode, Fan Speed, Temperature Up/Down, and Timer.
4.2 Remote Control
The remote control provides convenient operation from a distance. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted.
4.3 Operating Modes
- Cool Mode: For cooling the room. Set your desired temperature.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose from various fan speeds.
- Dehumidify Mode: Removes moisture from the air. The fan speed is typically fixed in this mode.
4.4 Temperature Setting

5. Maintenance

5.1 Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it.
5.2 Water Drainage
During dehumidification or prolonged cooling, water will accumulate inside the unit. The unit has an internal water tank that may require manual drainage.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or container under the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
5.3 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is completely drained and cleaned. Store in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original packaging.
