- Open the key cabinet door.
- Locate the control lever inside the cabinet, near the combination lock mechanism.
- Push the control lever from position A to position B.
- While the lever is in position B, set your desired 3-digit code by rotating the number dials on the front of the lock.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your key cabinet, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
- Lock Mechanism: Periodically check the combination lock dials for smooth operation. If they become stiff, a small amount of graphite lubricant can be applied, but avoid oil-based lubricants.
- Mounting: Regularly inspect the wall mounting screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Combination lock dials are hard to rotate. | Dust or debris accumulation; lack of lubrication. | Clean the dials with a soft brush. Apply a small amount of graphite lubricant if necessary. |
| Unable to set a new passcode. | Control lever not fully moved to position B; incorrect procedure. | Ensure the control lever is firmly pushed to position B before setting the new code. Follow the "Setting/Resetting the Combination Code" steps precisely. |
| Cabinet feels loose on the wall. | Mounting screws are loose or wall anchors are not secure. | Tighten the mounting screws. If the issue persists, consider using more robust wall anchors or relocating the cabinet to a stronger wall section. |
