Product Overview
The Feit Electric PLUG/WIFI/WP Wi-Fi enabled outdoor smart plug provides convenient control over two outdoor devices from any location. This smart plug allows you to transform any standard device into a smart device, enabling power control, scheduling, and timer functions directly from an intuitive smartphone application. It supports grouping of devices for simplified control and integrates seamlessly with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. Designed for outdoor use, it is ETL Wet location rated.

Setup and Installation
What's in the Box

Initial Setup Steps
- Plug In: Plug the Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug into an outdoor-rated electrical outlet.
Ensure the plug is securely connected to a suitable outdoor outlet.
- Check Indicator Light: The indicator light on the plug must be blinking rapidly to connect. If the light is not blinking rapidly, press and hold the power button on the plug for 5 seconds until it starts blinking rapidly.
- Download and Open App: Download the Feit Electric App from your smartphone's app store. Open the Feit Electric App.
- Add Device: In the app, choose a location (e.g., "Home") and tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
- Select Device Type: Select "Plugs" and then "Outdoor Plug".
- Confirm Blinking: If the indicator light is blinking rapidly, press "Confirm" in the app.
- Enter Wi-Fi Password: You will be prompted to enter the password for your Wi-Fi network. Note: This app and device only work with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. 5GHz networks are not supported. Ensure your phone and device are as close to your router as possible during connection.

- Connection Process: The plug will begin connecting. If the connection fails, verify your Wi-Fi password (it is case-sensitive) and ensure you are on a 2.4GHz network. You may need to close the app and repeat the steps or consult the help section within the app.
- Rename Device (Optional): Once successfully added, you can rename the plug by tapping the pen icon, entering a new name, and tapping "Save", then "Done".
Operation
Once your Feit Electric Smart Outdoor Plug is successfully set up, you can control it and connected devices using the Feit Electric App or voice commands.
App Control Features
- Remote Access: Power devices on or off from anywhere using your smartphone.
- Scheduling: Set daily or weekly schedules for devices to turn on and off automatically. This is ideal for holiday lights or garden features.

- Countdown Timer: Set a countdown for devices to turn off after a specified duration.
- Device Sharing: Share control of the smart plug with multiple users through the app.
- Grouping: Group multiple smart plugs or other Feit Electric smart devices together for unified control with a single tap.

Voice Control
The Feit Electric Smart Outdoor Plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Once connected, you can use simple voice commands to control your connected devices. For example, "Alexa, turn off the lights outside."
Maintenance
The Feit Electric Smart Outdoor Plug is ETL Wet location rated, designed to withstand various weather conditions. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Regularly inspect the plug and connected cords for any signs of damage or wear.
- Keep the plug free from excessive dirt, debris, or standing water. Wipe clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
- When not in use for extended periods, store the plug in a dry, protected area.

Troubleshooting

- Plug Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
- Verify that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Try moving the smart plug closer to your Wi-Fi router during the setup process.
- Reset the smart plug by holding the power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks rapidly.
- Voice Control Issues:
- Ensure your smart plug is properly linked to your Alexa or Google Assistant account through the Feit Electric App.
- Check your internet connection and the status of your voice assistant device.
- Device Not Responding:
- Unplug the smart plug from the outlet, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in.
- Check if your Wi-Fi network is active and stable.
