2. Vehicle Requirements and Compatibility

4. Operating Instructions
This remote start system utilizes your vehicle's existing factory key fobs, eliminating the need for additional remotes.
4.1 Starting Your Vehicle Remotely
To activate the remote start function, press the "lock" button three times on your factory key fob within a short succession. The vehicle's parking lights will flash, and the engine will start.

4.2 Remote Start Features
- Run Time Options: The system can be programmed for run times of 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes. The default setting is typically 15 minutes.
- Auto-Start Mode: Programmable 2, 3, or 4 hourly auto-start mode options are available. This feature allows the vehicle to automatically start at set intervals, useful in extreme weather conditions to maintain cabin temperature or battery charge.
- Shutting Down Remotely: To turn off the vehicle remotely, press the "lock" button three times again on your factory key fob.
