1. Introduction

This user manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your ZYHW Car Warning Triangle Emergency Reflective LED Lights. This device is designed to enhance roadside safety by providing a highly visible warning signal to approaching traffic during vehicle breakdowns or emergencies.

Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure safe and effective operation.

2. Safety Information

• This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
• Ensure batteries are installed correctly according to polarity markings. Incorrect installation can damage the device or cause battery leakage.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
• Always place the warning triangle on a stable, flat surface.
• When deploying the triangle, ensure your own safety by facing oncoming traffic and being aware of your surroundings.
• This device is an aid for visibility and should be used in conjunction with other safety measures, such as hazard lights and reflective vests, as required by local regulations.

4. Package Contents

The package should contain the following item:

• 1 x ZYHW Car Warning Triangle Emergency Reflective LED Lights

Note: Batteries (3 x AA) are not included and must be purchased separately.

5. Setup

5.1 Unfolding the Triangle

1. Carefully remove the folded warning triangle from its storage position.
2. Gently pull the two upper arms of the triangle outwards until they lock into place, forming the triangular shape.
3. Extend the metal stand at the bottom of the triangle to provide a stable base. Ensure the stand is fully extended and locked.

5.2 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the warning triangle, typically near the bottom arm.
2. Open the battery compartment cover. This may require a small screwdriver or firm pressure to slide open.
3. Insert 3 x AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely. Ensure it clicks into place to protect the batteries from moisture and dust.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Activating the LED Lights

Once batteries are installed, locate the power button, usually on the side or back of the triangle near the battery compartment.

• Press the power button once to turn on the LED lights. The lights will typically start in a flashing mode.
• Press the power button again to cycle through available light modes (e.g., constant on, different flashing patterns).
• Press the power button a third time (or cycle through all modes) to turn off the LED lights.

6.2 Placement for Roadside Safety

For optimal visibility and safety, place the warning triangle behind your disabled vehicle. The recommended distance varies by local regulations, but generally:

• On a two-lane road, place the triangle approximately 50-100 meters (164-328 feet) behind your vehicle.
• On a highway or high-speed road, place the triangle further back, up to 150-200 meters (492-656 feet), to give approaching drivers ample warning.
• Ensure the triangle is placed in a clear line of sight for oncoming traffic and is not obstructed by curves, hills, or other vehicles.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal reflectivity and light output, periodically clean the warning triangle:

• Wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the plastic and reflective material.
• Ensure the device is completely dry before folding and storing.

7.2 Storage

When not in use, fold the warning triangle back into its compact form and store it in a dry, cool place, such as your vehicle's trunk. This protects the device from damage and prolongs its lifespan.

7.3 Battery Replacement

If the LED lights dim or stop working, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps (Section 5.2) to replace the 3 x AA batteries. Always dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
