5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Using the Drawers
The trolley features 7 smooth-running drawers. To open a drawer, gently pull the handle. To close, push the drawer firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure drawers are fully closed before moving the trolley.
Important: For stability, avoid opening more than one drawer at a time, especially the upper drawers when they are heavily loaded. This can shift the center of gravity and cause the trolley to tip.
5.2 Utilizing the Tool Set
The TW1000 comes with a comprehensive 263-piece tool set, organized in foam inserts within the drawers. Each tool has a designated spot for easy identification and retrieval.

5.3 Top Storage Area
The top surface of the trolley provides a large storage area with cut-outs. This is ideal for keeping frequently used tools, small parts, or work-in-progress items easily accessible without needing to open drawers.
5.4 Locking the Trolley
The trolley is equipped with a key lock to secure your tools. Insert the key into the lock mechanism, turn it to the locked position, and remove the key. Ensure all drawers are fully closed before locking.
6. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Scheppach TW1000 workshop trolley.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the powder-coated finish.
- Drawer Slides: Periodically check the drawer slides for smooth operation. If they become stiff, apply a small amount of silicone spray lubricant.
- Wheels: Inspect the wheels and their locking mechanisms regularly for wear or damage. Keep the wheel casters free of debris.
- Tool Care: Keep all tools clean and dry. Return them to their designated spots after use to maintain organization and prevent loss.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and fasteners for tightness and re-tighten if necessary.
