Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the M SANMERSEN 61-Key Kids Piano Keyboard. It covers setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure a safe and enjoyable musical experience. This portable electronic keyboard features 16 tones, 5 rhythms, 8 percussion sounds, 6 demo songs, and recording/playback functions. It also includes an MP3 function and an LED display for enhanced learning and creativity.

Setup

1. Powering the Keyboard

The keyboard can be powered using either 4 AA batteries (not included) or the provided USB power cable.

Battery Installation:

Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover and insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.

USB Power:

Connect the provided USB cable to the keyboard's USB port and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

2. Microphone Connection

The included microphone can be connected to the designated microphone jack on the keyboard. This allows for singing along while playing.

3. Power On/Off

Press the 'Power' button located on the control panel to turn the keyboard on or off. The LED display will illuminate when the keyboard is on.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Play

Press any key on the keyboard to produce a sound. The keyboard features 61 keys, providing a wide range for musical exploration.

2. Volume and Tempo Control

Use the 'Volume' buttons to adjust the overall sound level of the keyboard. The 'Tempo' buttons allow you to control the speed of rhythms and demo songs.

3. Tones and Rhythms

The keyboard offers 16 different tones (instrument sounds) and 5 rhythms. Select your desired tone or rhythm using the dedicated buttons on the control panel.

4. MP3 Function

Connect a U-disk, MP3 player, or mobile phone to the USB port to play external music. Press the 'OKON' function to play background music from demos, allowing you to play any key which will be automatically corrected to match the demo's melody.

5. Fill-in and Program Function

Add percussion to rhythms by pressing the 'R00-04' and 'FILL-IN' buttons. You can also record your own percussion by entering 'PROG' mode and then pressing the percussion buttons.

6. Recording and Playback

Use the 'RECORD' button to capture your musical creations. Press 'PLAY' to listen to your recorded sequences.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

Wipe the keyboard with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

Storage:

Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

No Sound:

• Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
• Check battery installation or USB connection.
• Adjust the volume level.

Microphone Not Working:

• Verify the microphone is securely plugged into its jack.
• Note: The microphone volume is independent of the keyboard's main volume control.

Distorted Sound:

• Reduce the volume.
• Ensure no other devices are causing interference.
