1. Introduction

2. Setup

Charging the Headphone

The AA2118 headphone contains a rechargeable battery. To charge the headphone, it must be placed on the charging base of the Digitech AA-2036 2.4GHz Wireless Headphone System. Ensure the AA-2036 system is powered on and connected to a power source. The charging indicator on the headphone (if present) will illuminate to confirm charging status.

Connecting to the AA-2036 System

The AA2118 headphone is designed to automatically connect to the AA-2036 system when powered on and within range. If connection is not established:

1. Ensure the AA-2036 transmitter is powered on and transmitting.
2. Power on the AA2118 headphone.
3. Press the 'SCAN' button on the headphone (located on the left earcup, as shown in Figure 1) to search for the transmitter signal.
4. Once connected, the audio from the AA-2036 system will be audible through the headphones.

3. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the power button (located on the right earcup, as shown in Figure 2) until the indicator light illuminates.
• To power off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns off.

Volume Control

Adjust the listening volume using the 'VOL+' and 'VOL-' buttons located on the left earcup (as shown in Figure 1).

Using the 3.5mm Aux Input

The AA2118 headphone features a 3.5mm Aux input, allowing direct connection to an audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) using a standard 3.5mm audio cable. When an audio cable is connected, the wireless function may be temporarily disabled, and the headphone will operate as a wired unit.

• Headphone Not Charging:

• Poor Audio Quality/Interference:
