1. Product Overview

2. Package Contents

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
2. Open the compartment cover.
3. Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: The timer requires 2 AA batteries for operation. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the screen.

3.2 Faucet Installation

1. Ensure the faucet is clean and free of debris.
2. For USA-type 3/4 inch hose faucets, attach the timer directly. Ensure the 5mm O-ring is properly seated.
3. For EU-type 1/2 inch hose faucets, first screw the 1/2 inch adapter onto the faucet. Ensure the 3mm O-ring is properly seated within the adapter. Then, attach the timer to the adapter.
4. Screw the timer onto the faucet or adapter as tightly as possible by hand. The 360-degree rotating connector allows for easy positioning.
5. Connect your garden hose or irrigation system to the outlet of the timer.

4. Operating Instructions

The timer features a large LCD screen and intuitive buttons for easy programming.

4.1 Setting Current Time

1. Press the SETUP/OK button to enter setup mode. The current time will flash.
2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press SETUP/OK again to move to minutes, then adjust with + and -.
4. Press SETUP/OK to confirm and exit time setting.

4.2 Programming Watering Schedule

The timer allows you to set a start time, watering duration, and frequency.

1. Set Start Time:
   • From the main screen, press SETUP/OK until 'START TIME' flashes.
   • Use + and - to set the desired watering start hour and minute.
   • Press SETUP/OK to confirm.
2. Set Watering Duration ('HOW LONG'):
   • After setting the start time, 'HOW LONG' will flash.
   • Use + and - to set the watering duration from 1 second to 300 minutes.
   • Press SETUP/OK to confirm.
3. Set Watering Frequency ('HOW OFTEN'):
   • After setting the duration, 'HOW OFTEN' will flash.
   • Use + and - to set the interval from 1 hour to 15 days.
   • Press SETUP/OK to confirm and save the program.

4.3 Manual Watering

To water immediately without affecting the programmed schedule:

1. Press the MANUAL button.
2. Use + and - to set the desired manual watering duration.
3. Press SETUP/OK to start manual watering.
4. To stop manual watering, press MANUAL again or ESC/OFF.

4.4 Rain Delay Function

To temporarily pause your watering schedule due to rain or other reasons:

1. Press the RAIN DELAY button.
2. Use + and - to select the delay duration (e.g., 24h, 48h, 72h).
3. Press SETUP/OK to activate the rain delay. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.
4. To cancel rain delay, press RAIN DELAY again.

4.5 Child Lock

To prevent accidental changes to your settings:

1. Press and hold the SETUP/OK button for 3 seconds to activate Child Lock. A lock icon will appear on the screen.
2. To deactivate, press and hold the SETUP/OK button for 3 seconds again.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator shows low power, replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Follow the steps in Section 3.1.

5.2 Cleaning

Clean the timer's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Regularly check and clean the metal mesh filter at the inlet to prevent blockages.

5.3 Winter Storage

Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet, remove the batteries, and store the unit indoors in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

• No water flow:
  • Check if the faucet is fully open.
  • Ensure the timer is programmed correctly and not in Rain Delay or OFF mode.
  • Check for blockages in the filter or hose.
  • Verify battery level.
• Timer not turning on:
  • Ensure batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
• Leaking from connections:
  • Ensure all connections are tightened securely.
  • Check that O-rings are properly seated and not damaged. Replace if worn.
• Incorrect watering schedule:
  • Re-check your programmed settings for Start Time, Duration, and Frequency.
  • Ensure the current time on the timer is set accurately.
