3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The X2T-S uses two AA batteries. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side or bottom of the unit, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators, and close the cover securely.
3.2 Mounting on Camera
- Ensure the camera and the X2T-S are both powered off.
- Slide the X2T-S hot shoe mount onto your Sony camera's hot shoe.
- Secure the trigger by rotating the locking ring or lever until it is firmly attached.

3.3 Powering On/Off
Locate the power switch on the side of the X2T-S. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on the device. Slide it to "OFF" to power off.
3.4 Initial Settings (Channel and Group)
Before use, ensure the X2T-S and your Godox flashes are set to the same channel and group. Refer to your flash unit's manual for specific instructions on setting channels and groups.
- Press the MENU button to access settings.
- Navigate to CH (Channel) and adjust using the dial.
- Navigate to GR (Group) and adjust as needed.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Flash Triggering
Once the X2T-S is mounted and powered on, and your flashes are set to the correct channel and group, you can trigger them by pressing the shutter button on your camera or the test flash button on the X2T-S.

4.2 Group Control
The X2T-S allows individual control of up to 5 groups (A, B, C, D, E). Use the dedicated group buttons on the top panel to select a group and adjust its settings (e.g., power output, flash mode) using the control dial.

4.3 Flash Modes (TTL, Manual, Multi)
- TTL Autoflash: Automatically adjusts flash output for correct exposure. Press the MODE button to cycle through modes until TTL is displayed.
- Manual Flash: Allows precise control over flash power output. Select Manual mode and adjust power levels (e.g., 1/1 to 1/128) using the control dial.
- Multi Flash (Stroboscopic): Fires a series of rapid flashes. Set the frequency and number of flashes in Multi mode.
