3. Setup and Pairing

Follow these steps to set up your OMOTON Bluetooth Keyboard and pair it with your device.

3.1 Battery Installation

The keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing Process

To pair the keyboard with your device, follow these steps:

1. Slide the power switch on the keyboard from OFF to ON.
2. Double-click the "Connect" button or press and hold it for 2-3 seconds to activate pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will blink.
3. On your iPad or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
4. Ensure Bluetooth is turned ON. Your device will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
5. From the list of available devices, select "Bluetooth Keyboard" to connect.
