- Slide the food carriage onto the slide-rod extension until it is securely in place.
- Insert the food pusher into the food carriage.
- Ensure all components are correctly installed and tightened before plugging the unit into a power outlet.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective slicing:
- Prepare Food: Place the food item (meat, cheese, bread, vegetables, fruits) onto the food carriage. For best results with meat, partially freeze it for 1-3 hours before slicing.
- Adjust Thickness: Use the thickness control knob located at the back of the slicer to select your desired slice thickness, from super thin to approximately 3/4 inch (0-15mm).
- Power On: To turn on the slicer, simultaneously press and hold both the safety lock and the power button. The blade will begin to rotate.
- Slice Food: Using the food pusher, gently guide the food carriage back and forth across the rotating blade. Apply even, gentle pressure. Do not force the food.
- Collect Slices: Sliced food will fall onto the tray or surface beneath the blade.
- Power Off: Once slicing is complete, release the power button and safety lock. Unplug the slicer from the power outlet.
