2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Included Components

2.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the charging cable to the DX220 and a compatible USB power adapter. The DX220 supports QC3.0, PD2.0, and MTK PE Plus quick charging protocols, allowing for a rapid charge up to 70% in approximately one hour. A full charge ensures optimal battery performance.

2.3 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until a power-off menu appears on the screen. Select "Power Off" to shut down the device. A short press will turn the screen on or off.

2.4 MicroSD Card Installation

The DX220 supports Micro SDXC cards for expanded storage. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the device. Insert the MicroSD card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

3. Operation

3.1 User Interface Navigation

3.2 Music Playback

3.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

The DX220 features two-way Bluetooth 5.0. This allows it to transmit audio to Bluetooth headphones/speakers (output) and receive audio from other devices (input). It supports high-quality codecs like LDAC and aptX.

3.6 MQA Playback

The DX220 includes MQA technology, enabling it to fully unfold and play MQA audio files and streams. This allows for playback of the original master recording quality.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the device's screen and body. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
