5. Setup and Installation
The detector is designed for wall mounting on a flush-mounted insert. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before beginning installation.
- Prepare the flush-mounted insert in the wall at the recommended installation height of 1.10 m.
- Connect the electrical wiring to the detector according to the wiring diagram provided with the product (not included in this manual). The detector supports operation with 2- or 3-wire satellite inserts for extended functionality.
- Secure the detector to the flush-mounted insert.
- Restore power and test the device.
6. Operation
The JUNG A 17180 WW detector automatically switches connected lighting based on the detection of thermal presence (motion) and the ambient brightness level. When motion is detected and the ambient light falls below the set threshold, the light will turn on. After a set delay, if no further motion is detected, the light will turn off.
