4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The keyboard and mouse require batteries for operation. Please ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard and mouse.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (typically AA or AAA, not included) according to the polarity indicators.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 2.4 GHz Wireless Connection
For 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, use the included USB receiver.
- Remove the USB receiver from its storage slot on the underside of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch (if available). The keyboard typically activates upon key press.
- Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. The keyboard and mouse are now ready for use.
4.3 Bluetooth Connection (Bluetooth 3.0/4.0)
The Rapoo 8000M supports Bluetooth connectivity for up to two devices (BT1 and BT2 channels).
- Enable Bluetooth on your device: Ensure Bluetooth is active on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
- Select a Bluetooth channel: On the keyboard, press Fn + 1 or Fn + 2 to select Bluetooth device 1 or 2. On the mouse, press the dedicated Bluetooth pairing button (often on the underside or side) to cycle through channels.
- Enter Pairing Mode:
- Keyboard: Press and hold Fn + 1 or Fn + 2 for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking slowly.
- Mouse: Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking slowly.
- Pair with your device: On your device, search for Bluetooth devices. Select "Rapoo 8000M Keyboard" and "Rapoo 8000M Mouse" from the list. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

5.1 Switching Between Devices
The Rapoo 8000M allows you to connect to and switch between three devices (one via 2.4 GHz USB receiver, two via Bluetooth).
- Keyboard: Press Fn + 1 (for Bluetooth device 1), Fn + 2 (for Bluetooth device 2), or Fn + 3 (for 2.4 GHz USB receiver) to switch between connected devices.
- Mouse: Press the dedicated device switching button (often on the underside or side) to cycle through the connected devices (2.4G, BT1, BT2).
