7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your washing machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions before contacting service.
7.1 Excessive Vibration or Noise
- Check Leveling: Ensure the machine is perfectly level using its adjustable feet. An unbalanced machine can cause significant vibration.
- Remove Transport Bolts: Verify that all transport bolts at the rear of the machine have been removed during installation. Failure to do so will cause severe vibration and noise.
- Load Balance: Distribute laundry evenly inside the drum. An unbalanced load can lead to excessive vibration during spin cycles. The auto imbalance sensing & control feature helps, but proper loading is key.
7.2 Machine Does Not Start
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in.
- Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- Make sure the door is fully closed.
- Confirm that the 'Start/Pause' button has been pressed.
7.3 Water Not Filling or Draining
- Check if the water tap is fully open.
- Inspect the water inlet hose for kinks or blockages.
- Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked.
- Clean the drain pump filter if it is clogged.
