5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your JDR Fog Machine.
5.1 Cleaning the Heat Pipe
To prevent blockages and remove accumulated impurities inside the heat pipe, it is recommended to clean the machine periodically. Use a mixture of distilled water and white vinegar for this purpose.
Video 1: This video demonstrates how to use the JDR Fog Machine for disinfection and highlights the importance of using atomized disinfectant for better results. It also shows the cleaning process using distilled water and white vinegar.
5.2 Storage
When not in use for a long time, ensure the machine is clean and stored in a dry, well-ventilated area. It is advisable to run a small amount of water through the system before storage to prevent fluid residue from drying and causing blockages.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your JDR Fog Machine, consider the following common solutions:
- No Fog Output:
- Check if the power switch is ON and the preheat indicator is green.
- Ensure the fluid tank has enough fog fluid.
- Verify that the remote control is properly connected and functioning.
- Allow sufficient time for reheating between sprays.
- Weak Fog Output:
- Ensure you are using high-quality professional fog fluid.
- The machine might require cleaning if the heat pipe is partially blocked. Refer to Section 5.1.
- Remote Control Not Working:
- For wireless remote, check battery if applicable (though product specs say no batteries included/required for machine, remote might have one).
- Ensure the remote receiver is securely plugged in.
- Verify you are within the effective range for wireless control (50 meters without barriers).
If problems persist, please contact customer support.
