1. Introduction

2. Setup and Battery Installation

3.3 Tare Function (Zeroing)

The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to exclude the weight of a container. To use the Tare function:

1. Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show its weight.
2. Press the ON/TARE button. The display will reset to "0.00".
3. Add your first ingredient to the container. The display will show the weight of only the ingredient.
4. To add another ingredient, press the ON/TARE button again to zero the scale, then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.

3.4 Hold Function

The Hold function is useful when a large container might obscure the display. It "locks" the weight reading on the display even after the item is removed.

1. Place the item to be weighed on the scale.
2. Once the weight stabilizes, press the HOLD button.
3. You can now remove the item, and the last stable weight will remain on the display.
