2. Setup
2.1 Initial Inspection
Upon unpacking, verify that all components are present: the calculator unit, a slide-on hard case, a warranty card with serial number, a warranty term sheet, and this user manual.
2.2 Power Source
The Casio FX-350MS 2nd Gen calculator operates on a single button cell battery. The battery is typically pre-installed. If the display is dim or unresponsive, the battery may need replacement (refer to Section 4.2).
2.3 Attaching the Hard Case
The calculator comes with a slide-on hard case designed to protect the unit from damage. Slide the calculator into the case from the bottom until it clicks securely into place. To remove, gently slide it out.

2.4 Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the [ON] key.
- To turn off: Press [SHIFT] then [AC] (OFF). The calculator also features an auto-power off function to conserve battery life.

3.1 Keypad Layout and Display
