Setup Guide
1. Physical Setup
Place the camera on a flat surface or mount it to a wall using the provided accessories. Ensure it is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and near a power outlet.

Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on and begin its initialization sequence.
2. App Installation and Pairing
Download the Wansview Cloud app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Open the Wansview Cloud app and create an account or log in.
- Tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or connecting to a temporary Wi-Fi hotspot created by the camera.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.
3. SD Card Installation (Optional)
The camera supports up to 128GB Micro SD cards for local storage. To install, gently insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot on the camera until it clicks into place.
Operating the Camera
1. Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Once connected, open the Wansview Cloud app and select your camera to view the live feed. Use the on-screen controls to pan (320° horizontal) and tilt (80° vertical) the camera remotely, providing 360° coverage of your space.

2. Two-Way Audio
The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera, and listen to audio from the camera's environment.

3. Motion Detection and Alerts
Enable motion detection in the app settings to receive real-time alerts on your phone when motion is detected. The camera will also record 10-second video clips of motion events.

4. Recording Options
Recordings can be stored locally on an inserted Micro SD card (up to 128GB) or via the optional Wansview Cloud storage service (30-day free trial available).
5. Night Vision Features
The Wansview Q5 camera offers various night vision modes to suit your needs:
- Automatic Infrared Mode: Switches to night mode with infrared lighting for clear black-and-white images in low light conditions.
- Intelligent Light Mode: Auto-infrared by default. White light activates for full-color images on motion at night. White light is disabled below 20% battery. Adjustable delay for auto-shutdown after motion.
- Night Full-Color Mode: White light auto-illuminates at night for color images. Turns off automatically during the day. White light is inactive below 20% battery.
- Full Off Mode: Optimized for consistently bright conditions, maintaining color images.

The camera incorporates Financial Encryption Technology for cloud storage to protect your data. You can also set privacy zones within the app to exclude certain areas from monitoring.
