3. Setup and Assembly
Assembly is required for the fan base. Follow these general steps:
- Carefully remove the fan and all components from the packaging.
- Assemble the two halves of the base by interlocking them.
- Align the assembled base with the bottom of the fan unit.
- Secure the base to the fan unit using the provided screws. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Place the fan on a firm, level surface.

4. Operating Instructions
Your Lasko T48314 fan can be operated using the control panel on the top of the unit or the included remote control.
Control Panel:

- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the fan ON or OFF.
- Speed Button (⟳): Cycle through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.
- Oscillation Button (⟲): Activate or deactivate the widespread oscillation feature.
- Timer Button (🕒): Set the fan to automatically turn off after 1, 2, 4, or 7 hours.
- Nighttime Setting Button (💡): Activates a quiet mode that decreases speed and dims control lights for undisturbed sleep.
Remote Control:
The remote control provides convenient access to all fan functions from a distance.

- Ensure batteries are correctly installed in the remote control.

5. Maintenance
