1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Eversecu 4-Channel Home Security Camera System. Your Eversecu security system package typically includes the following components:

Note: A hard drive (HDD) for video storage is NOT included with this system. You will need to install a 500GB–2TB 3.5-inch SATA hard drive separately.
3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Hard Drive Installation (If Applicable)
If your DVR does not have a pre-installed hard drive, follow these steps to install a 3.5-inch SATA HDD:
- Twist down the screws of the DVR: Carefully remove the top cover of the DVR by unscrewing the retaining screws on the back and sides.
- Access the hard disk: Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the DVR to the corresponding ports on your hard drive.
- Install the screws: Secure the hard drive inside the DVR chassis using the provided screws. Replace the DVR cover and secure it with the screws removed earlier.

3.2 System Connection Diagram

- Connect each camera to the DVR using the provided 60ft video/power cables.
- Connect the 4-way power splitter to the camera power adapter, then connect each camera's power input to the splitter.
- Connect the DVR to a monitor or TV via HDMI or VGA cable.
- Connect the USB mouse to the DVR's USB port.
- For remote access, connect the DVR to your router using an Ethernet cable.
- Plug in the DVR power adapter to a power outlet.

4. Operating Your System
4.1 Initial Setup and Configuration
Upon first power-up, the DVR will guide you through an initial setup wizard. This includes setting the date/time, creating a password, and configuring network settings. Ensure your hard drive is formatted by the DVR for recording.
4.2 Live View and Playback
Once connected, you can view live feeds from all cameras on your connected monitor. Use the USB mouse to navigate the DVR's on-screen menu for playback of recorded footage, system settings, and other functions.

4.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
