4. Setup
Before first use, wash all parts except the motor base in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The cups and lids are dishwasher-safe.
- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface. The anti-slip pads on the bottom will help secure it.
- Choose the appropriate cup (20oz Tritan Cup or Grind Cup) for your task.
- Add your ingredients to the chosen cup. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
- Select the correct blade assembly:
- For smoothies, shakes, and baby food: Use the 4-Leaf Blade for Blender.
- For grinding coffee, spices, or nuts: Use the 2-Leaf Blade for Grinder.
- Screw the selected blade assembly onto the open end of the cup until securely tightened.
5. Operating Instructions
The Yabano Personal Blender features simple one-touch operation.
- After preparing the cup with ingredients and blade assembly, invert the cup and place it onto the motor base. Align the tabs on the cup with the slots on the base.
- Twist the cup clockwise until it locks into place. The blender will not operate unless the cup is securely locked.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC outlet.
- To begin blending/grinding, press down firmly on the top of the cup. The motor will activate.
- To stop, release pressure from the cup. For best results, blend in short pulses (e.g., 10-second intervals) rather than continuous operation, especially for tougher ingredients.
- Once blending/grinding is complete, twist the cup counter-clockwise to unlock and lift it from the motor base.
- Unscrew the blade assembly from the cup.
- Attach a Travel Lid for on-the-go consumption or a solid lid for storage.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your blender.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
- Cups and Lids: All cups and lids are dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended). For manual cleaning, wash with warm, soapy water using a brush to clean around the blades carefully.
- Blades: Handle blades with extreme caution as they are sharp. Rinse immediately after use to prevent food from drying on them. Use a brush for thorough cleaning.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blender does not turn on. | Cup not securely locked onto the base. | Ensure the cup is twisted clockwise until it clicks into place. |
| Blender stops during operation. | Overheat or overload protection activated. | Reduce the amount of ingredients in the cup. Unplug the power cord and let the motor cool for a while (approx. 15-30 minutes). |
| Ingredients are not blending smoothly. | Too many ingredients or insufficient liquid. | Reduce ingredients and/or add more liquid. Use pulse function for tough ingredients. Ensure liquid is near the blade. |
| Leakage from the cup. | Blade assembly not tightened properly or seal is damaged. | Ensure blade assembly is tightly screwed onto the cup. Check the rubber gasket for proper placement and damage. |
