Operating Instructions

Wearing the Headset

Adjust the headband to ensure the ear cups sit comfortably over your ears. The ear cups are designed with deluxe lightweight leatherette for extended comfort and can rotate up to 90 degrees for a lay-flat position when not in use or for storage.

Volume Control

The volume wheel is located on the left ear cup. Rotate the wheel up to increase volume and down to decrease volume. This allows for quick and convenient audio adjustments during gameplay.

Microphone Mute Function

To mute the microphone, simply flip the microphone boom upwards. Flipping it back down will unmute the microphone. This physical mute mechanism provides clear indication of microphone status.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. For ear cups, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid excessive moisture. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The ear cups can be rotated to lay flat for easier storage.
  • Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

No Sound or Low Volume

  • Ensure the 3.5 mm jack is fully inserted into your device.
  • Check the volume wheel on the left ear cup and rotate it upwards to increase volume.
  • Verify your device's audio output settings and volume levels.
  • If using the PC splitter, ensure both green (headphone) and pink (microphone) jacks are correctly connected to the corresponding ports on your PC.
  • Test the headset with another device to rule out a device-specific issue.

Microphone Not Working

  • Ensure the microphone boom is flipped down to the active position (not muted).
  • Check your device's microphone input settings and ensure the Logitech G331 is selected as the default input device.
  • Adjust the microphone volume levels in your device's sound settings.
  • If using the PC splitter, confirm the pink-coded jack is securely connected to your PC's microphone input.
  • Test the microphone with another application or device.

Physical Damage / Hinge Issues

While designed for durability, excessive force or repeated drops can cause damage, particularly to the ear cup hinges. Handle the headset with care. For physical damage, refer to the warranty information.
