9. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

  • Device not turning ON/OFF at programmed times:
    • Check if the timer is in 'AUTO ON' or 'AUTO OFF' mode. If it's in 'MANUAL' mode, it will not follow programs.
    • Verify that the current time and day are set correctly.
    • Review your programmed ON/OFF times for accuracy. Ensure there are no conflicting programs.
    • Confirm that the power supply to the timer is stable.
  • Display is blank or unresponsive:
    • Check the main power supply to the timer.
    • Perform a full reset by pressing the 'C/R' button four times.
    • Allow the internal battery to charge for a few hours if the device has been unpowered for a long time.
  • Difficulty programming or buttons not responding:
    • Ensure the buttons are unlocked by pressing 'C/R' four times.
    • Some buttons may require a firm press due to their capacitive nature.
  • Load not receiving power:
    • Check all wiring connections, especially to the load terminals (3, 4, 5).
    • Verify that the load itself is functional.
    • Ensure the timer is in an 'ON' state (either AUTO ON or MANUAL ON) when the load is expected to be active.
