Setup
Battery Installation
The radio requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Initial Power On
After installing batteries, press and hold the Power/Sleep button to turn on the radio. The LCD display will light up.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press and hold the Power/Sleep button.
- To turn off: Press and hold the Power/Sleep button again.
Band Selection (AM/FM)
Press the AM/FM SCAN button to switch between AM and FM bands.
Tuning
- Manual Tuning: Press the TUN- or TUN+ buttons to adjust the frequency step by step.
- Auto Scan: Press and hold the AM/FM SCAN button to automatically scan for and save available stations.
Setting AM Step Value (9kHz or 10kHz)
The radio supports both 9kHz and 10kHz AM tuning steps, suitable for different regions (e.g., 10kHz for North America, 9kHz for most other countries).
- Ensure the radio is turned on.
- Simultaneously press and hold the M+ and LOCK buttons for approximately 3 seconds.
- The LCD display will show either "9" or "10".
- Press the TUN+ or TUN- buttons to select your desired AM step value (9kHz or 10kHz).
- The setting will be saved automatically.
Volume Control
Adjust the volume by sliding the VOLUME control located on the side of the radio.
Using Earphones
Plug the included earphones (or any standard 3.5mm earphones) into the 3.5mm Headphone Jack on the top of the radio. When earphones are connected, audio will be routed through them, and the external speaker will be muted.

Lock Function
To prevent accidental button presses, you can lock the radio's controls:
- To lock: Press and hold the LOCK button until a lock icon appears on the LCD display.
- To unlock: Press and hold the LOCK button again until the lock icon disappears.
Maintenance

Battery Care
