1. Important Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before using this appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Never use while sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not direct hot air towards eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.
• The nozzle and accessories may become hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.

2.1 Components

• Main Unit: The dryer housing containing the motor and heating elements. Features an insulated ABS integrated molding casing for heat insulation and motor circuit isolation.
• Flexible Hose: Extends from 4 ft to 8 ft for versatile use.
• Nozzles: Three different nozzles are included for various drying needs.

• Control Panel: Features a wind volume switch (infinitely variable), a heating switch, and a normal temperature switch.

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Shernbao PBD-701H dog dryer for first use.

1. Unpack the Dryer: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the "Product Overview" section are present.
2. Attach the Hose: Connect the flexible hose to the air outlet on the front of the main unit. Twist until securely locked in place.
3. Select and Attach Nozzle: Choose the appropriate nozzle for your grooming task (see Section 4.3 for nozzle descriptions). Push the desired nozzle onto the end of the flexible hose until it clicks into place.
4. Position the Dryer: Place the dryer on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. Keep it away from water sources.
5. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the voltage requirements specified in the "Specifications" section.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• To turn on the dryer, rotate the Wind Volume Switch clockwise from the "Off" position.
• To turn off the dryer, rotate the Wind Volume Switch counter-clockwise to the "Off" position.

4.2 Adjusting Airflow and Temperature

• Airflow Speed: The Wind Volume Switch provides infinitely variable speed control, ranging from 515 FPM to 44000 FPM. Rotate the switch to increase or decrease airflow as needed. Start with a lower speed for sensitive pets.
• Temperature Settings: The dryer offers two temperature settings.
  • Use the "Normal Temperature Switch" for ambient air drying.
  • Engage the "Heating Switch" for warm air drying. The temperature range is from 44°F to 111°F.

4.3 Nozzle Selection and Use

The dryer comes with three distinct nozzles, each designed for specific drying tasks:

• Round Nozzle: Best suited for cold weather, this nozzle gathers hot air more effectively, aiding in temperature increase for faster drying.
• Wide Flat Nozzle: Concentrates airflow to help shape the coat and increase fullness and gloss of the hair. Ideal for larger areas.
• Narrow Flat Nozzle: A combination of the other two nozzles, offering focused airflow for specific areas or dense coats.

4.4 Drying Technique

• Always keep the nozzle moving to prevent concentrating heat in one spot, which could cause discomfort or burns to the pet.
• Maintain a safe distance between the nozzle and the pet's skin.
• Start drying from the pet's rear and work your way forward, paying attention to sensitive areas like the face and ears.
• Use lower speeds and no heat for sensitive areas or nervous pets.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Shernbao PBD-701H dog dryer.

5.1 Cleaning Air Filters

The air filters prevent pet hair and debris from entering the motor, which can cause overheating and damage. Clean them regularly.

1. Power Off and Unplug: Ensure the dryer is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Remove Filter Cover: Locate the filter cover at the rear of the dryer unit. Gently twist or unclip the cover to remove it.
3. Remove Filters: Take out the foam filters from their compartments.
4. Clean Filters: Remove accumulated hair and debris from the filters. You can rinse them with water if heavily soiled, ensuring they are completely dry before reinstallation.
5. Reinstall Filters: Place the clean, dry filters back into their compartments and secure the filter cover.

5.2 General Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Inspect the flexible hose for any cracks or damage. Replace if necessary.
• Ensure the nozzles are clean and free of obstructions.
