Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your HybridLX:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and seat with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Ensure the product is dry before storage.
- Wheel Inspection: Regularly check the wheels for wear, damage, or debris. Clean any hair or lint from the wheel axles.
- Brake Check: Periodically test the handbrakes to ensure they engage smoothly and effectively. Adjust if necessary (refer to a qualified technician if unsure).
- Fasteners: Check all screws, bolts, and other fasteners regularly to ensure they are tight. Do not overtighten.
- Storage: Store the product in a dry, clean environment away from extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HybridLX, refer to the following common solutions:
- Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure no obstructions are present. Check that the seat strap is pulled firmly and evenly.
- Brakes Not Engaging: Inspect the brake cables for damage or looseness. Ensure the brake levers are fully depressed or squeezed. If issues persist, professional adjustment may be required.
- Unstable Operation: Verify that all frame components are fully extended and locked. Check that the handle height adjustment pins are securely engaged.
- Squeaking Wheels: Clean wheels and axles. A small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to moving parts, avoiding brake surfaces.
