Optical Sensor and Wireless Technology
The Targus W600 mouse utilizes a 1,600 DPI (Dots Per Inch) optical sensor, providing high precision and smooth tracking on various surfaces. The 2.4 GHz wireless technology ensures a stable connection with minimal interference, delays, or signal drops, offering reliable performance up to 10 meters from the receiver.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For the optical sensor, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol to gently clean the sensor opening on the underside of the mouse. Ensure the mouse is powered off before cleaning.
Battery Replacement
When the mouse performance degrades or it stops responding, it is likely time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup Guide" section.
Receiver Storage
For convenience and to prevent loss, the USB receiver can be stored inside the mouse's battery compartment when not in use or during travel.
