Setup and Installation Guide
1. Unboxing and Preparation
Carefully unbox both the indoor and outdoor units. Remove any packaging materials and ensure all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present. Keep the installation template for marking.

2. Indoor Unit Placement and Mounting
Select a hard, flat, and firm wall for the indoor unit to avoid vibration and noise. Use the provided installation template to mark the exact location for the mounting bracket and the wall hole for pipes and wires. Drill the screw holes and insert expansion tubes. Secure the mounting bracket. Drill the wall hole at a certain angle, high on the inside and low on the outside, to ensure proper drainage.

3. Wiring the Indoor Unit
Remove the cover of the indoor unit to access the wiring terminal. Thread the communication cable through the designated hole and fix the wires according to their color to the corresponding positions on the terminal block. Ensure the presser plate is fixed to the main cable for security.
4. Connecting Pipes and Drain Hose (Indoor)
Connect the thicker end of the drain hose to the drain pipe of the indoor unit. Connect the metal air tubes (gas and liquid pipes) to the indoor unit, ensuring joints are snugly fitted and tightened with a wrench. Line up all wires and pipes neatly, turn them to the position of the corresponding holes, and wrap them together with plastic tapes.
5. Hanging the Indoor Unit
Hang the indoor unit onto the mounting bracket. Run the pipes and wires through the previously punched holes. Cover the holes with pipe protection rings inside and outside the walls, plugging any excess holes using putty to seal them.
6. Outdoor Unit Placement and Wiring
Place the outdoor unit in a suitable location, either on a wall bracket (to be purchased separately) or on the ground. Connect the two pipes to the outdoor unit, ensuring the joints fit snugly and are tightened. Remove the cover from the outdoor unit's electrical compartment. Pass the power and communication wires through the cover hole and fix them to the terminal block according to their color. Secure the fixing plate and close the cover.

7. Vacuuming and Refrigerant Release
Connect a stop valve, charging hose, manifold valve, and vacuum pump to the outdoor unit. Vacuumize for at least 15 minutes, ensuring the pressure gauge value is ≤-0.1MPa (-76cmHg / 500µm). Maintain pressure for 35 minutes after vacuumizing to ensure springback is ≤0.05MPa. Open the 1/4 liquid valve, then remove the charging hose. Using an Allen wrench, open all the liquid valves and gas valves, and finally retighten the three caps.
8. Leakage Test
Pour 500ml of water along the evaporator of the indoor unit. Check to see if water is flowing from the pipe outside the wall within about 20 seconds. If there is electricity leakage, turn off power immediately and check where the leakage is occurring.

Maintenance
The unit features a self-cleaning function that automatically cleans its interior, helping to keep the air in your home fresh. The outdoor AC unit also has an auto-defrost function, which operates at low temperatures (-4°F / -20°C) to prevent damage and enhance energy efficiency. Regularly check and clean the washable mesh filters for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting
If the unit is not cooling or heating effectively, first check the remote control settings to ensure the correct mode and temperature are selected. Verify that the air filters are clean and free of obstructions. Ensure there are no obstructions around the indoor or outdoor unit's air inlet and outlet. If issues persist, consult a professional HVAC technician. Do not attempt to repair the air conditioner yourself as wrong installation or maintenance may cause electric shock or fire.
