2. Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using an electrical appliance.

  • This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not allow children to operate the vacuum cleaner. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
  • Do not pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use without the dust cup and filters in place.
  • Turn off the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the motorized brush or other accessories.

  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Exercise extra care when cleaning on stairs.

  • Do not charge the appliance outdoors.

5. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner.

  1. Attach the Extension Wand: Insert the extension wand into the main vacuum unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Attach the Floor Brush: Connect the motorized floor brush to the other end of the extension wand. Ensure it clicks firmly.
  3. Install Roller Brush: The motorized floor brush comes with two roller brushes. Select the appropriate brush (one for hard floors, one for carpets) and insert it into the brush head.
  4. Attach Wall Mount (Optional): Use the provided screws and anchors to secure the wall mount bracket to a suitable wall. This allows for convenient storage and charging.

6. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the vacuum cleaner for approximately 4-5 hours.

  • Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the main vacuum unit.
  • Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  • The LED power indicator lights will illuminate to show the charging status. All lights will be solid when fully charged.
  • The 22.2V 2200mAh lithium battery provides up to 45 minutes of runtime at normal speed and 25 minutes at maximum speed.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Settings

  • Press the power button to turn the vacuum cleaner on. It will start in normal speed mode.
  • Press the speed button to switch between normal speed (for small dust and pet hair) and maximum speed (for larger debris like crumbs, cereals, cat litter).
  • Press the power button again to turn the vacuum cleaner off.

7.2 Using Different Attachments

The Dibea D18 comes with various attachments for versatile cleaning.

  • Motorized Floor Brush: Ideal for cleaning large floor areas, both hard floors and carpets. The integrated LED lights illuminate dark areas, and its 270° rotation allows easy maneuverability under furniture.
  • Mini Motorized Brush: Designed for cleaning beds, sofas, pet beds, and other upholstered surfaces to effectively remove dust, dander, and pet hair.

  • Bristle Brush: Use for dusting furniture, blinds, and other delicate surfaces.

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

8.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup after each use or when the MAX fill line is reached.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
  2. Press the one-push dust button to release the bottom flap of the dust cup and empty contents into a trash bin.
  3. Close the dust cup flap securely.

8.2 Cleaning Filters

The filters should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power. The high-density filter cotton is washable.

  1. Twist and pull to remove the dust cup from the main unit.
  2. Remove the filter components (washable high-density filter cotton, cyclone separator system, micro-filter stainless steel mesh).
  3. Rinse the washable filter cotton and stainless steel mesh under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not wash the cyclone separator system with water.
  4. Allow all filter parts to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating methods.
  5. Reassemble the filters and dust cup, ensuring all parts are correctly seated.

8.3 Cleaning Roller Brushes

Hair and debris can get tangled in the roller brushes. Clean them periodically.

  1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Press the release button on the side of the motorized floor brush to remove the roller brush.
  3. Use scissors or a brush to remove any tangled hair or debris from the roller brush.
  4. Reinsert the clean roller brush until it clicks into place.

8.4 Battery Care

  • Store the vacuum cleaner in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain its health.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Dibea D18, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
