Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Twist the back cover of the Bionic Light unit counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the required AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Replace the back cover by twisting it clockwise until secure.

2. Mounting the Magnetic Base

The magnetic base allows for flexible placement of your Bionic Light. Choose a clean, dry, and flat surface for installation.

  • For Metal Surfaces: The magnetic base can directly adhere to metal surfaces without the need for adhesive pads.
  • For Non-Magnetic Surfaces: Use the included adhesive pads. Peel off one side of the protective film from an adhesive pad and firmly press it onto the back of the magnetic base. Then, peel off the other side of the protective film and press the base firmly onto your desired surface for at least 30 seconds.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Mode Selection

The Bionic Light features a silicone button for power and mode selection. Press the button to cycle through the available modes:

  1. High: Provides maximum brightness.
  2. Medium: Offers moderate brightness.
  3. Strobe: Emits a flashing light pattern.
  4. Motion-Sensor: Activates motion detection. In this mode, the light will turn on automatically when motion is detected in low-light conditions. This mode is most effective in dimly lit environments.

2. Portable Use

The Bionic Light unit can be easily detached from its magnetic base for portable use as a flashlight. This allows you to illuminate hard-to-reach areas or carry light with you as needed.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

When the light output diminishes or the unit stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the 'Setup' section.

2. Cleaning

To clean the Bionic Light, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. While water-resistant, it is not waterproof.

Troubleshooting

  • Light does not turn on: Check if the batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Ensure the unit is not in motion-sensor mode in a brightly lit area.
  • Motion sensor not working: The motion sensor functions best in low-light conditions. Ensure there is sufficient darkness for the sensor to activate. Check battery levels.
  • Adhesive pad not holding: Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth. For heavy-duty applications or rough surfaces, consider alternative mounting methods if available, or re-apply with new, strong adhesive.
  • Light output is dim: Replace the batteries.
